During heavy rain on the turnpike, I viewed what I believed to be a blue Hyundai Tiburon following me. The car moved to make a pass...

...it was a C6. I thought a C6 was a Tiburon. So...yeah. I’ll just leave this card here, move to Kansas and drive a Prius from now on. Also, no more Top Gear.

I remember a six or seven year old version of me getting really excited in the backseat during a family vacation because I saw something in Dodge Viper Blue with double white racing stripes closing in. The only car in my known universe with that kind of paint job at that time was the Viper, so I snapped a picture with my disposable camera.

Turned out to be an MX-5....

Definitely. I can only imagine the guy feeling pretty good about his fake Viper paint when he saw me take the picture through our rear window. Meanwhile I was about to be heavily disappointed, cursing the Miata and generally being pissed about wasting one of 24 shots on the disposable camera....

No need to turn in the card. Corvettes have had bland, anonymous styling since the c5 certainly, and arguably the c4 as well. I work next to a Chevy dealership and I still mistake c7s as Viper once in a while, or a Ferrari from the side.
